We are looking for somebody who is interested in volunteering the whole summer to serve at LAB as the Cook's Assistant (formerly the LAB runner). Give me a call or shoot me an email if you are interested in the position.

Campgrounds Training

One More Thing...
This year, we are trying something New! We are offering training to work in Campgrounds during Staff Orientation. If you can commit to working in Campgrounds for 3 weeks or more and are 16 or older, we will train you during Staff Orientation. Pass the word around!

Sno Rodeo

Hey Ya'll , just a shout out, we still have spots available for Sno Rodeo, Dec.28th-30th! Please let me know if you want to come serve, it will be an awesome time to reconnect with other staff members and some fun in the snow of the great North Woods! Let me know!

almost Winter

It is not officially winter yet, but there is plenty of snow on the trees (and the roads) here in the great North Woods. Gary has been doing a great job of Christmasizing Camp, many hand made wreaths and the broomball courts are being made as well. We are getting ready for Sno Rodeo, our first winter camping event, and our biggest one as well. It should make for a great time.

I was on the road last week, meeting with some potential summer staff. It's not too early to be thinking about your plans for next summer. I already have 2009 summer staff applications pouring in, what a blessing.
