Leadership Training Under Way

We are officially into our second week of Leader's Training and we are off to a great start. We have a great crew here. These weeks have been full! The leaders are out now on a 3 day canoe trip on the mighty Flambeau River. Staff Orientation was a blast. We were so blessed by what the Lord had to say through Sean.

Many weeks are filling up for volunteers. I am no longer accepting applications unless you are a lifeguard, wrangler or cook.

Please be in prayer for the leaders that are here, in their preparation to serve this summer.

I look forward to seeing you guys up here this summer.

Last Minute details

Hey Staff! Spring and almost summer is in the air. The lakes have thawed, the sun is shining, the trees are blooming, all that's missing is......you! We are so excited for you guys to arrive! This means the beginning of summer for us.

Some great news! We have hired a 4th Residant Assistant, Kyle Broddrick! We also have a new member to the team, Tony Basso as dish crew head. The Lord answers prayer.

We are still in need of two more Program Staff at Adventure Outpost as well as the AO photographer.

Staff Orientation is this up-coming weekend, May 22nd-25th. If you have not already let me know if you are coming, please do so ASAP, we need to plan for meals and other group activities we have going on!
Our Speaker is Sean Luellwitz, the associate pastor from Southbrook Chruch, Milwaukee. I am excited for the message he has to share. It also will be a great time to have a mini-retreat and get away from your hectic schedules and to enjoy the Northwoods.

Staff Orientation begins at 7pm on Friday, staff will be arriving anytime between 7 and 12. Staff Orientation ends on Monday morning after brunch.

I look forward to seeing you this next weekend.

Down to the wire

Hey Staff!

I hope you are getting excited for summer, I know I am. Can you believe it is already May??
We still have a few more leadership positions we are looking to fill! Including Program Staff at Adventure Outpost, you get to lead canoeing and backpacking trips, how fun is that?

As a reminder, Please have your confirmation packets sent in by May 19th, it's a lot of paper work I need to get done and it's a huge help to have them in before Staff Orientation.

Also, Please RSVP your time of arrival for Staff Orientation. Email me if you have any questions.

Please be praying for the campers, other staff and even full time staff that will be here at Fort. There are so many opportunities to share the Love of Christ. Have a great day.
